During Eagle Days in St. Louis, The Discovery Expedition of St. Charles, MO spent a little time showing our teenagers how a fire was started in the 1800s. Snapped this shot and thought it was cool. He started the flame w/ flint, charcoal (made from linen squares) and shredded rope. Quite cool.
